Nigerians call on the government to help a man who created a motorcycle

A young man from Owerri in Imo state, southeast Nigeria has caught the attention of many people in his local community with a unique piece of engineering which he has singlehandedly put together.

Kenneth, as he is popularly called, has created what looks like a motorcycle, using pieces of scrap metal, wheels, rubber parts, and other things which he was able to gather. The front-wheel of this motorcycle looks like it came from a wheelbarrow while the handle and brake system seems to be from a bicycle. It also has a gear system that works like that of a car, rather than a conventional motorcycle.

Kenneth has tested his creation in the presence of many people who were clearly awed at how such a young man with little resources was able to pull off such an achievement. While asked what he would need to further improve his creation and possibly go commercial, Kenneth asked for support from well-meaning Nigerians as well as the Nigerian government.

Nigerian Ace Comedian, Alibaba put up the video on his Instagram page showing Kenneth testing his creation. The video has since drawn reactions from hundreds of followers, most of which have either been criticizing the government of that region or charging the government to show support to young talented individuals like Kenneth. Several other young Nigerians like Kenneth have in the past created different useful machines but as they didn’t get the required support, they and their creations have since been forgotten.
