Renowned Nigerian comedian and actor-turned-preacher, Oluwatoyin Bayegun, widely known as Woli Arole, has announced the passing of his father.
He shared the news on Sunday evening through his official Facebook page, posting an emotional tribute accompanied by a touching photo of himself with his late father.
In his heartfelt message, he wrote:
“It has pleased the LORD to receive my FATHER in GLORY.
“It’s in total submission to the will of God that I announce the passing of my father, my HERO, and my ROLE MODEL.
“I am grateful I spent your last moments with you in JOY, PRAYERS, and FUN. Rest well, Baba Jimmy.
“I’m happy you left a LEGACY, and that LEGACY is ME! I will miss you so MUCH!”
The announcement has drawn condolences and support from fans and colleagues, who have joined in mourning his loss.
