Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani has been declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate by an Appeal Court sitting in Yola, Adamawa State capital.
Justice Tank Yusuf Hassan who presided over the case, set aside the judgement of the Yola High Court which earlier nullified the governorship primary and declared that APC has no candidate for the 2023 election.
While passing its judgement, the Appellate court ordered that Binani’s name be submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) immediately.
Binani, 51 is a graduate of Electrical Engineering from the University Of Southampton UK.
A former Member House of Reps, and a serving Senator representing Adamawa Central.
