Nigerian entertainment industry celebrates this month.

September seems to be a month of multiple celebration in the giant of Africa’s entertainment industry as many stars and celebrities have their birthdays this month of September.
Meet three of them who had their birthdays all in one day, on the 14th of September.

Patience Ozokwor


Also known as Mama G, Veteran Nollywood actress has started her celebration very early in the month as she took to her Instagram page with various posts of some of her children, grandchildren and family members who also have their birthdays in the month of September. It seems September is a really a month of celebration in the house of the Actress.
Patience who turned 62 yesterday is a Nigerian musician, fashion designer, gospel singer and actress. She won the Best Supporting Actress 2012 & 2013 award at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards. Ozokwor was among 100 Nigerians honoured by the government to celebrate the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates in 2014.


Basket Mouth


Basket mouth is an iconic popular award winning comedian. The comedian took to his Instagram page to celebrate not only himself but also 22 years in the comedy industry.


Bright Okpocha turned 42 yesterday, he was born in Lagos State. He is better known by his stage name Basketmouth is a Nigerian comedian and actor. He has organized popular stand-up comedy concerts like Basketmouth Uncensored across the globe.


Sunday Oliseh


Iconic footballer and super eagle, Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh was also born 14th September. He is a Nigerian football manager and former player. In his active playing career he played as a midfielder. A physical yet technically gifted defensive midfielder, Oliseh played for world-famous clubs such as AFC Ajax, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus F.C..
Oliseh played 63 international matches and scored three goals for Nigeria, and played at the Football World Cups of 1994 and 1998. Oliseh also participated in the Olympic gold medal winning team of 1996. Sunday Oliseh was voted Africa’s third best footballer in 1998 by CAF.
He is mostly remembered for scoring the winning goal in the group stage match against Spain in the 1998 World Cup,
as Nigeria prevailed 3–2.


Many celebrities and fans of the stars have taken to their social media pages to celebrate with the iconic Actress, Comedian and Footballer.



There are other celebrities who had their birthdays yesterday as well. Celebrities like comedian, Senator Comedian, comedian, Mr Paul and actor and comedian, Adedayo Davies.

Other celebrities also have a cause to celebrate, Monalisa Chinda, recently celebrated her birthday. Some others like iconic musician, tubaba (tuface idibia), popular blogger Linda Ikeji and award winning writer and author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie have theirs coming up later in the month.
