    Nigerian Military Exterminate 82 Terrorists in Gun Battle

    The Nigerian Military High Command announced on Thursday, the elimination of 82 terrorists at Rafin Dankura in Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

    The incident happened following military airstrikes in the North-Western state.

    The Army stated at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja, that the terrorists were attempting to kidnap innocent civilians when troops attached to the Forward Operation Base, Bakura, Operation HADARIN DAJI responded to distress calls.

    Maj.-Gen. Benard Onyeuko, Director, Defence Media Operations, stated that at least 4,770 terrorists surrendered to the Nigerian military in Borno State between June 16 and June 30, 2022.

    He stated that the Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI on June 22, did an air prohibition at Kofar Danya Village in Bukkuyum Local Government area of Zamfara State.

    He said the airstrike was executed following reports of an arranged assault on Kofar Danya Village.

    Onyeuko added that the Nigerian Air Force stages drew in the terrorists with weighty siege which obliterated the psychological militant’s death camp.

    According to him, the Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI on June 22, carried out air interdiction at Kofar Danya Village in Bukkuyum Local Government area of Zamfara State.

    Onyeuko explained that the Nigerian Air Force platforms engaged the terrorists with heavy bombardment which destroyed the terrorists’ concentration camp.
