Afrobeat stars have been at the forefront of global music, with Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer Davido has teaming up with eight-time Grammy Award winner Usher evident through international collaborations.
Davido posted pictures of both of them in a a studio on his Instagram story, which hints that a possible music collaboration could be in the making. The post comes after the R&B singer attended Davido’s concert in Las Vegas.
Also, Nigerian record producer Pheelz has sparked another possible music collabo after he linked up with American record producers Diddy, Dr. Dre and record executive Jimmy Iovine.
Pheelz posted on social media and said “What has life become? @drdre Love forever big broski ❤️👑. Ps. Pheelz is Dre certified now.🐘 Izz going gaan “. In a separate post, the Warner UK signee said ‘#Jimmyiovine Said I’m one of the coldest writers he’s ever seen. That sh** felt unreal.”
This comes days after Davido and Pheelz released the visual of the latest single ‘Electricity’. The video has amassed almost 6 million views since uploaded on Youtube on August 19, 2022.
