Founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Pastor David Oyedepo has taken a jab at Internet fraudsters otherwise known as “Yahoo Boys”.
Yahoo Boy refers to young men who engage in different types of internet fraud and scams.
Bishop Oyedepo while preaching to his congregation said Yahoo boys have a tainted future.
He admonished youths on Sunday, advising them to steer clear of anything illegal to avoid the wrath of the law. He declared that those involved would end in bitterness and destruction.
“Nobody playing games has a future in the kingdom. Hear this and hear it forever. If that is your trade, stop it.
“Yahoo Yahoo business, stop it. Grabbing people’s ATM card details, stop it! You are on a very fast lane that always ends in bitterness and destruction.
“There is the law to mind. The law of sowing and reaping. The law of seedtime and harvest. The law of giving and receiving that is the law.
“Engage with that law cheerfully. Engage with that law willingly. Engage with that law tirelessly and watch how you begin to lay up gold with time,” he said.
Bishop Oyedepo joins the list of clerics who have openly condemned the act. Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries has also openly called out Yahoo boys for their illegal activities. He said they will know no peace because they steal from other people.
