Nigerian Police Arrest Kidnappers of Bethel School Students (News Central TV)

The Nigerian Police Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba has announced the apprehension of three kingpins involved in the abduction of over 100 students of Bethel Baptist school, Kaduna – ­Northwest Nigeria.   

The suspects, attired in military gear, were paraded by the Police at the headquarters of the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), in Abuja.

The three suspected kidnappers of Bethel School students: Isiaku Lawal, Adamu Bello and Muazu Abubakar said they carried out the operation in a desperate bid to get money. They told reporters that 25 of them participated in the abduction of the students.

Abubakar, a 27-year-old suspect, said, “Twenty-five of us carried out the operation. We kidnapped 136 students and I got N100,000 share from the money.”
