Nigeria: Two Presidential Candidates to Speak at Chatam House Next Week (News Central TV)

Two Presidential candidates will attend the Chatam House, the United Kingdom’s foreign and policy think-tank institute as Nigerians prepare to cast their ballots in February.

They include the Labour Party’s Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the torchbearer for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

The independent policy institution, which has its headquarters in London, aims to comment on current events and propose solutions to global problems.

Tuesday’s program at Chatam is themed, Nigeria’s 2023 elections: A vision for policy change and institutional changes will be introduced by Peter Obi.

Speaking on his vision for policy and governance reforms in Nigeria, the former governor of Anambra State will discuss objectives for combating systemic insecurity and corruption as well as steps to encourage social and political mobility for Nigerian residents.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC Presidential candidate, spoke to the British Royal Institute about the 2023 general elections last month.

INEC Boss, Professor Yakubu, will then speak on Tuesday, outlining Nigeria’s plans and top goals for guaranteeing inclusiveness and integrity in the voting process.

He will also discuss the main obstacles and strategies for holding the elections, such as election security and the application of new technical systems.

On Wednesday, Kwankwaso will wrap up the discussion on Nigeria’s elections and political developments.

The NNPP leader will talk about his policy suggestions for enhancing the nation’s systems and services, with an emphasis on the education industry and other top priorities for guaranteeing inclusive and secure service delivery.
