Nigerian rapper and entertainer Oladips has reportedly passed on. His management announced that the artiste had passed away on Tuesday, November 14.
Oladipupo Olabode Oladimei, popularly known as Oladips, came into the limelight in 2017 after releasing his hit song ‘Lalakukulala’ with his then record label boss Reminisce.
A video posted online showed his friends and people around him in panic while rushing him to the hospital as he battled for his life before he passed on.
In an official statement posted on the last rapper’s Instagram, his management verified the story saying; “We are still in shock as we speak! For over 2 years he has kept his battles within himself, his body is now with his family & funeral services will be announced as soon as it is concluded!
The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss. (amen)”. The Nigerian rapper was 28 years old before passing on with over four music projects in his catalog. This is coming two months after the demise of popular Nigerian Artiste Mohbad, who also died at almost 28.
