Six suspected bandits have been arrested by the operatives of the Special Military Task Force under Operation Safe Haven in Plateau State. The soldiers recovered 47 livestock during a raid at Manguna village in Bokkos LGA of Plateau state.
On the arrival of the troops raiding enclaves occupied by bandits in Pandam forest in Qua’an Pan on Wednesday, June 12, some of the terrorists fled.
The troops conducted the raid under Operation Grand Finale via intelligence and intercepted some of the terrorists.
The troops recovered 1 G3 riffle, 2 revolver riddles, 1 Magazines, 3 rounds of 7.62 MM Nato Ammunition and a quiver with 20 arrows. Additionally, the troops recovered rustled livestock which includes 21 cows and 26 rams.
The troops took in the terrorists for investigation and profiling.
