News Central have gathered that Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have eliminated several Boko Haram insurgents, including two of its Commanders; Sarki and Abu Huzaifa.
The Intelligence-driven offensive onslaught was carried out on Saturday May 6 when the Nigerian Army collaborated with other Security Agencies in Konduga LGA of Borno State.
It was gathered that the Boko Haram insurgents were eliminated during a fierce gun batttle with the troops, with others retreating and fleeing into a nearby forest.
The troops, who recovered several ammunition and logistics items belonging to the insurgents during the encounter, also lost a CJTF Commander.
It should be recalled that News Central reported on Monday that in Zamfara state and its surroundings, over hundreds of bandits, led by notorious bandits kingpin Dan karami, have migrated to territories between Safana and Batsari Local Government territories of Katsina State.
It is pertinent to mention that Usman Modi-Modi, another notorious bandit, has been terrorising locals in the aforementioned areas.
