Nigeria's INEC To Issue Certificates Of Return From Wednesday (News Central TV)

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled supplementary governorship elections in Kebbi and Adamawa states for April 15, according to an announcement posted on Twitter on Monday.

The electoral body had declared the governorship elections of March 18 in both Adamawa and Kebbi inconclusive. INEC also stated that supplementary polls for national and state assembly elections will take place on the same day.

The commission made this decision during a meeting held on Monday.   The statement released by INEC reads:

“Arising from its meeting held today, the Independent National Electoral Commission has decided that all outstanding Governorship, National and State Assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday 15th April 2023.”
