Reports indicate that an amusement park along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Impact Studios is on fire.

The studio which is located at Hi-Impact Planet Road, KM 12 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Opposite MFM Prayer City, Ibafo, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria is still under fire at the time of filing this report, leaving properties worth millions of dollars burnt.

According to the Managing Director of Solution Media & Infotech, Adeyeloye Lipede, the fire started at around 8am on Thursday morning and the cause of the fire is still unknown.

“Staff of the TV station and that of the largest Amusement Park in Nigeria, Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park & Resort rose to the occasion by curtailing the spread of the fire before the arrival of men of Ogun State and Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) fire services who were able to put out the fire.

“No life was lost in the unfortunate incident and the Amusement Park & Resort is still intact.

The cause of the fire outbreak at the station is yet to be ascertained but all is fine and normal summer activities at the Park have been scheduled to resume by Thursday August, 19 2021,” he stated.
