President Tinubu’s wife revealed her plan to collaborate with the wives of religious leaders and traditional rulers, who have already engaged with the President, to find ways to mitigate the impact of new government policies and improve the overall well-being of the people.

Acknowledging that the former First Ladies are all mothers of their respective states, Senator Tinubu sought their partnership in her mission to nurse the nation back to health.

She assured them that this collaboration would not infringe on the roles of incumbent Governors’ wives, but rather, it aimed to draw upon the valuable experience of the former governors’ spouses.

Expressing gratitude for their support during the electioneering period, which resulted in the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and others, Senator Tinubu urged everyone to work towards fulfilling the promises made during the elections and more.

Speaking on behalf of the Wives of the Former Governors, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the wife of the Former Governor of Ekiti State, pledged their commitment to work with Senator Oluremi Tinubu and the wives of current Governors in their respective states to achieve the government’s goals and aspirations.

The wives of the Vice President, the Senate President, and 13 former Governors also attended the meeting, further highlighting the significance of women’s contributions to nation-building, as their involvement is vital for progress and development.
