Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the death of Friday Nwosu. Until his death, Nwosu was the party’s National Welfare Secretary.
President Buhari expressed his condolences to members of the party’s National Working Committee, the lawyer’s friends, family, and colleagues. He noted that Nwosu had been a devoted member of the party and of the country, handling the business of its members admirably and carefully, particularly during campaigns and elections.
The late National Welfare Secretary’s wisdom and maturity, according to the President, added to the party’s successes over the years. However, his departure has left a void in the leadership group that oversees the party’s staff and members.
President Buhari prayed that Nwosu’s spirit would find eternal peace and that his family would be protected by God.
