Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has received the Polish President, Andrzej Sebastian Duda, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Duda who arrived at the Villa at about 10:30 am on Tuesday was received by Buhari after which he inspected a guard of honour.
This is the first official visit by a Polish President to Nigeria in the 60 years since Nigeria and Poland established diplomatic ties.
Duda notes that Nigeria is the only African country with which Poland has signed an Agreement on Strategic Dialogue. Both Presidents discussed food security and energy security, among others.
