Throughout 37 league matches, Chukwueze displayed his exceptional skills, scoring six goals and contributing five assists for his Villarreal teammates. One of his standout moments was an impressive brace against the renowned Real Madrid at the iconic Bernabeu Stadium earlier this year, further solidifying his credentials.

In total, Chukwueze tallied an impressive 13 goals and 11 assists across all competitions, marking the first time he achieved double figures for both goals and assists in a single season.

However, the future for Chukwueze at Villarreal beyond this extraordinary season remains uncertain. The 24-year-old prodigy has garnered attention from prominent clubs, including Real Madrid, as well as several contenders in the Premier League, such as Everton and Aston Villa.

Aston Villa, in particular, seems resolute in securing the services of this highly sought-after talent, reportedly willing to offer a substantial sum of €50 million to acquire Villarreal’s prized asset.
