Afeez Agoro Oladimiji, a well-known reality TV star and actor, who was widely acknowledged as Nigeria’s tallest man, has passed away. Preparations are underway for Agoro’s funeral at his residence on Community Road, Akoka.
According to reports, Agoro was rushed to the hospital yesterday due to health complications.
His last Facebook post was on May 28, following a successful hip replacement surgery. He expressed gratitude for the operation and mentioned that the therapy was successful.
Throughout his journey to recovery, Agoro was accompanied by his personal doctor, Dr. Dike. His remarkable height, standing at 7 feet 4 inches, attracted attention wherever he went.
The residents of Akoka/Bariga are expressing their condolences and sending tributes to honor his memory. Segun Adesanya, the Chairman of Akoka CDA, has confirmed Agoro’s passing, describing it as a tragic loss of a promising young man.
Adesanya said: “Afeez Agoro lives on community road and it’s sad we lost a promising young man. May his soul rest in peace.”
