Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan Sets 100m Hurdles World Record

Nigerian hurdler, Tobi Amusan has set a new world record in the women’s 100m Hurdles after leaping and sprinting to a global accomplishment at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Amusan ran 12.12s to smash the previous world record set six years ago by American athlete Kendra Harrison.

The Nigerian was in disbelief and excitement as she raced through the tracks to the achievement.

She now has the final to conquer as she eyes a podium finish at the 100m hurdles final race.

Amusan two days set an African record of 12.40s in the 100m Hurdles.
