Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has left the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) headquarters in Abuja.
Ajaero, who arrived at 10:17 am, departed at 11:15 am after providing his statement. He was accompanied by Senior Advocate of Nigeria Femi Falana, Marshal Abubakar, Deji Adeyanju, and other senior NLC officials.
Ajaero declined to speak with journalists at the IRT headquarters but stated he would address the media at the NLC headquarters.
The police had invited Ajaero to the IRT on August 20 at 10 am over allegations of terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony. Although he was unable to attend on that date, Ajaero promised to honour the invitation today.
