North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has stated that his military would deploy nuclear weapons without hesitation if the country’s territory were attacked by South Korea or its ally, the United States. According to state media, Kim articulated this position during a recent address.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Kim’s assertion, emphasising that should any enemy attempt to encroach upon the sovereignty of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), the country would not hesitate to utilise all available offensive capabilities, including its nuclear arsenal.
