The Nigerian Union of Petrol and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has commended the Dangote Refineries for the momentous start of producing Premium Motor Spirit, hailing it as a significant stride for Nigeria’s energy independence and economic advancement.

In a letter to Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the President/Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Group, Afolabi Olawale, the union’s General Secretary, conveyed their joy about the potential employment opportunities, socio-economic prosperity and substantial growth that this development will bring for Nigeria.

NUPENG extended its congratulations and well-wishes to President Bola Tinubu and Dangote, for the historic commencement of gasoline production at Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company.

“It has been long anticipated and awaited with bated breath and prayers not only by Nigerians but by the entire continent of Africa.
