Nigerian Grammy award-winning musician, Burna boy is not the only one getting trolled following his failed Lagos loves Damini show. Nigerian media personality, Olisa Adibua has come out to clarify his involvement after the African Giant’s statement of apology had his name listed as one of those to be blamed.

The last paragraph of Burna boy’s statement read “Wonder X, KC Kennedy, Olisa Adibua and creative catalyst did an abysmal job of executing anything and my fans should never have had to go through that”

Olisa Adibua, a prominent figure in Nigerian media, has now addressed the backlash that followed in a recent statement. He revealed he was contacted by creative catalyst only to liaise with Burna boy’s management team and aid the partnership in time for the event.

“Kindly note, I am not a director, partner, or shareholder of either company. I was never invited to, nor did I attend any production meeting for the show. My only other input was to suggest a name for the show and to assist with ticket sales.”

Adibua cleared the air that he didn’t go to the concert himself and had to rely on the stories of others who had been there to fill him in on what went down. According to wonda X, over 30,000 people made the trip out on January 1st to see the Grammy winner, Burna boy perform at the sold-out show. Unfortunately, fans had to wait for about 8hours before the African Giant eventually got on stage.
