According to the data provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission, as at 7 am on Monday, 12th July 2021, the commission had received a total of 456,909 fresh registrations, and a total of 542,576 online applications for registration, voter transfer, PVC replacement, etc, via the online portal.
Week two CVR data shows Osun State’s residents leading the figures with a total of 154,893 registrations. Lagos follows closely with 44,789; FCT – 32,015; Edo – 23,624; Bayelsa – 20,361; and Ogun – 16,871.
Ebonyi has recorded the least number of registrations with a total of 610 online applications, followed closely by Kebbi with only 976 registrations; Jigawa – 1170; Enugu – 1258; Yobe – 1396, Abia – 1434; Sokoto – 1815.
The commission publishes weekly infographics to give updates to the public on how the registration is going. They put out the total figures of fresh registrants as well as applications for voter transfer, requests for replacement of PVCs, etc.
