Nigeria‘s Wahid Enitan Oshodi was elected president of the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF) on Tuesday.
The former Lagos State Sports Commissioner won the election unopposed, succeeding Egypt’s Khaled El-Salhy as ATTF president.
The election was held during the ATTF’s 2024 Annual General Meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Oshodi is the first Nigerian to hold this position and is currently the only Nigerian leading a continental sports organization.
He previously served as president of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF).
