Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has handed out invitations to 27 players ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifying games against Sierra Leone and São Tomé & Principé.
Peseiro’s opening games as Nigeria’s coach ended in losses but the team had shown just enough to keep many hopeful.
His squad of 27 players comprised two home-based players including Faisal Sani and goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka.
There was also a debut call for goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye who is based in Israel.
Other players on the list are some of the regular suspects including skipper Ahmed Musa and attacker Victor Osimhen.
