Congolese nationals gathered at the European Union (EU) Mission in Pretoria on Tuesday, to protest the ongoing conflict between the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Rwanda.
“We are victims of an invasion of another country in our country,” one of the protesters declared.
The protest aims to draw international attention to the tensions between the two nations, particularly regarding Rwanda’s alleged support for rebel groups in the DRC, which has worsened the violence and instability in the region.
The protesters called for international intervention and greater support for peace in the DRC.
