Xi Jinping has received congratulations from President Muhammadu Buhari for being re-elected to a third five-year term as the leader of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the People’s Republic of China.
In a statement released on Sunday, the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, expressed his belief that President Xi has led China and Nigeria’s relations, which stretch back to 1971 when both nations formally established diplomatic ties, to rapidly advance bilateral commerce and strategic collaboration.
According to Adesina, the President expressed the hope that the strategic partnership between the United States and China would continue to grow rapidly in the future in terms of trade, finance, oil and gas relations, telecommunications, agriculture, infrastructure development, and manufacturing, as well as in the military, political, economic, and trade sectors.
The president of Nigeria expressed his wishes for continuing peace, development, and prosperity for the Chinese government and people under President Xi’s capable and dependable leadership.
