According to the presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, President Muhammadu Buhari will make his final trip to the Kingdom as president of Nigeria from Tuesday, April 11 to Tuesday, April 19, during this official visit.
The President will do Umrah, the Minor Pilgrimage, during the visit, according to a statement released by Shehu on Monday. He will have his assistants with him
“Buhari will travel to Saudi Arabia on an official visit from Tuesday, April 11 to 19 on his last trip to the Kingdom as President, during which he will perform Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage,”
As President, Buhari has made about 90 foreign trips, visiting over 40 countries, with the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and France being the countries he visited most.
He visited Ethiopia five times and made three visits to the United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Niger, and Senegal.
Countries he has visited at least twice include China, Germany, Benin, the Gambia, Kenya, Equatorial Guinea, Egypt, Mali, and Chad.
