President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has departed the country and is currently in the Asian nation of Vietnam. While there, he is scheduled to take part in the very first Uganda-Vietnam business conference as well as a trade fair.
The conference will begin today and continue through November 26th, 2022, at the Hilton Opera in Hanoi, Vietnam, with the topic “Unlocking Investment Opportunities.”
In addition to this, President Museveni will engage in conversation with Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who serves as his counterpart in Vietnam.
The Senior Presidential Press Secretary, Sandor Walusimbi, said on Wednesday that “while he is there, he will hold official talks with President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and also witness the signing of agreements between the two countries, among other engagements.” Walusimbi added, “He will also witness the signing of agreements between the two countries.”
The Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Uganda told King Ceasor Augustus Mulenga that the summit would be another chance for both countries to strengthen their ties with each other.
