President of Nigeria Bola Tinubu has condemned the multiple bomb explosions in Gwoza area of Borno State on Saturday, which killed at least 23 people and injured several others.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu described the attacks as “desperate acts of terror” showing the pressure on terrorists and the success in degrading their capabilities.
He assured that the perpetrators would face justice, adding that these attacks would not lead the nation into an era of fear and violence.
Tinubu said his administration is taking all necessary measures to secure the country and will intensify efforts to eliminate those who disrupt peace.
He also expressed his condolences to the victims, their families, and the people of Borno State.
