President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to veteran Nollywood actor, comedian, singer, and scriptwriter, Nkem Owoh, MON, as he marks his 70th birthday.

In a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, President Tinubu praised Owoh’s immense contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment industry, hailing him as one of its most cherished figures.

The President commended Owoh’s dedication to storytelling, which has not only entertained millions but also showcased Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage on a global stage.

Popularly known as “Osuofia” after his iconic role in Osuofia in London, Owoh has captivated audiences for decades with his comedic brilliance and versatility. His extensive filmography includes classics like Ikuku 1 & 2, and he remains a cornerstone of Nollywood’s golden era.
