President Bola Tinubu says he feels the sorrow of loss with the family, friends, and Fountain of Life Church members over the passing of popular Nigerian Cleric Pastor Taiwo Daniel Odukoya.
This information was released in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and the religious leader’s companions also received condolence messages from Tinubu.
According to him, the deceased’s teaching, outreach, and good deeds extended the horizons of humanitarian endeavor, especially with regard to the health and education sectors.
The president praised Odukoya’s contributions to the nation’s growth, noting how she helped the weak and defenseless while giving many people a platform to realise their aspirations through the proclamation of the word of religion.
In his speech, Tinubu emphasised the significance of the revered clergyman’s great legacies being actively sustained by everyone who knew him in the belief that the Almighty God will continue to console the family. The president offers a prayer for the deceased’s soul to find peace.
Pastor Odukoya’s demise was confirmed via the official Facebook page of the Fountain of Life church.
The church disclosed that the cleric died on Monday, August 7, in the United States of America.
