President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, following the demise of his brother, Salihu Ahmadu Ribadu, who passed away on Sunday in Yola, Adamawa State.
A statement from the President’s Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, revealed that President Tinubu was represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. Gbajabiamila led a federal government delegation to Yola on Tuesday for a condolence visit.
Addressing the Ribadu family at their residence in Yola, the Chief of Staff conveyed President Tinubu’s deep sorrow over the loss, describing it as “painful and irreparable.”
“Mr. President has mandated us to come to Yola and condole with a valued member of his team, the National Security Adviser, and by extension the rest of the family over the sad loss suffered by them.
“The loss of a close family member like this is very painful, and it is therefore important for friends and family to come together and commiserate with the bereaved family,” added the Chief of Staff.
