President Tinubu Seeks Closer Relationship With Brazil

President Bola Tinubu on Sunday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, told the Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, that Nigeria was ready to break all walls standing in her way to progress.

Tinubu revealed this following excellent discussions on comprehensively enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries in all spheres.

Speaking at the summit, the President emphasised Nigeria’s economic potential and impact, stating that the country was making significant progress, despite some short-term reform pains, as his administration removed all commercial barriers.

The President went on to say that his administration was investing in vital economic areas including healthcare, education, and agriculture to secure the well-being of all Nigerians and to establish long-term economic prosperity for future generations.

In a statement published by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu stated: “We have a very vibrant population of young Nigerians who are tranable, dependable, and should be empowered.” Nigeria’s economic potential is vast. We are prepared to break down all of the barriers to advancement.

“We are ready to fight corruption from top to bottom. We are ready to invest in critical sectors like healthcare, agriculture, education, infrastructure, and others. I have one of the most dedicated teams in agriculture.”
