Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu arrived the Nigeria Immigration Service headquarters in Abuja to unveil its Technology Innovation Complex.
The president was received about 12:08 pm by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nandap.
The Data Complex has the ECOWAS Biometric Card Production Centre, Visa Application Centre, the E-Gate, the Command and Control Centre (regular migration), NIS Data Centre, Interior Data Centre and a 500W solar power plant.
Nandap in her opening address, said the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology Innovation Complex will determine the risk level of persons entering the country, detect patterns of irregular migration and monitor unmanned borders in inaccessible areas nationwide.
