Mr Amaechi Ikechukwu, the Publisher of The Niche Newspaper commented on the recent declaration of Governor Fubara to probe Wike’s administration.
Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has declared that his administration intends to form a panel of investigation into the state’s governance.
Governor Fubara made the statement on Monday after swearing in Dagogo Iboroma as the state’s Attorney General, immediately after the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) was vetted and confirmed by the Victor Oko-Jumbo-led House of Assembly.
He indicated unequivocally that the state is in a dangerous condition, and it is clear that the political issue cannot be resolved.
On Tuesday, Amaechi Ikechukwu appeared on News Central’s Breakfast Central, said a probe of Nyesom Wike is a probe of the current Governor because Fubara was Wike’s ally when he was the governoe of Rivers state.
“Although the governor have immunity for four years, he was being investigated by EFCC before he became the governor of Rivers state. So he himself is not a saint”.
Wike on the other hand is playing god by saying he put Fubara there, where then is the democracy?
If Nigerians wants to practice democracy, We must abolish the idea of one man Playing god.
Nigerians must be prepared to practice democracy,” he added.
