Protesters insist that the demonstrations will persist unless President Bola Tinubu fulfils their demands. They urge the president to take appropriate action and add that doing so would promptly end the protests.

Speaking to reporters in Abuja, the Mobilisation Director of the Take It Back Movement, Damilare Adenola, expressed his unhappiness with the prolonged oppression under the president’s leadership.

“The restrictions placed on protesters by various court orders to specific locations are unacceptable.”

”Our presence here today is an announcement that we have been oppressed for too long. Today, we have risen. We are telling the president we will remain on the streets unless President Bola Tinubu accedes to our demands. We want to see the president on the street. During the protest, he was on the street.” He added.

Ayoola Babalola, a prominent figure in the Take It Back Movement, also said that the display of power near the Moshood Abiola premises brings shame to the country.
