The family of Robert Trujillo and Madrigal became the most famous household in Califonia as News of the delivery of their children made the rounds. This is due to a 15 minute delivery time gap.
This set of twins will always celebrate their birthdays in two distinct years. Fatima Madrigal gave birth to baby Alfredo on New Year’s Eve around 11:45 p.m and about 15 minutes later which is already a new year, by the way, the second child, Aylin arrived.
In clear terms, Alfredo and Aylin are twins, yet their birthdays are different in terms of date, month, and year.
According to the New York Post, big brother Alfredo weighed 2.74 kilograms at birth, while Aylin weighed 2.66 kg.
The ecstatic mother expressed her delight at the fact that the second twin arrived at midnight, giving the twins separate birthdays. “It’s amazing to me that they’re twins with different birthdays,” Madrigal stated in a Natividad Medical Center press release.
The rare occurrence, according to family doctor Dr. Ana Abril Arias, was one of the most memorable deliveries of her career. She went on to say that it had been an amazing joy to be in charge of making sure the twins were delivered safely in separate years.
“What an incredible way to begin the New Year!” she exclaimed. Alfredo and Aylin join three other sisters and one brother for a total of five siblings, with Madrigal expressing delight that her oldest son now has a brother.
