Popular Nigerian reality television show, Gulder Ultimate Search is about to make a comeback to the television screen after seven years.
The Gulder Ultimate Search series was the very first truly indigenous 100% local content reality television programme in Nigeria and it is a survival type reality program that showcases the efforts of Contestants against themselves in the wild, as well as their search for a hidden treasure that brings to the last person standing instant glory, fame and fortune.
Sponsored by Nigerian Breweries Plc, manufacturers of Gulder lager beer, Gulder Ultimate Search debuted in 2004 and lasted through 11 seasons on the air. The show went on to become the most-watched reality TV series in Nigeria before it abruptly ended in 2016.
According to the Corporate Affairs Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Sade Morgan, interested participants have to be Nigerians between 21-35 years old while applications should be submitted to www.gulderultimatesearch.ng between September 1, 2021, and September 8, 2021.
Shortlisted applicants for the reality TV show will undergo a regional selection process in Abuja and Enugu on September 13 and 14, while the selection will take place in Lagos on September 16 and 17, 2021.
The TV premiere of ‘Gulder Ultimate Search: The Age of Craftsmanship’ is set for October 16, 2021, and will run till December 19, when the grand finale will hold.
