REPORT: Sierra Leone begins probe into actions of former government

A picture released by the Special Court for Sierra Leone shows the Special Court's landmark courthouse in Freetown, where the UN-backed war crimes tribunal for Sierra Leone on October 26, 2009 will deliver its final verdict over atrocities during the African nation's decade-long civil war in which 120,000 people died and thousands more had limbs chopped off.
