A large crowd of protesters including anti-GBV activists, members of political parties, and the community of Wattville in South Africa assembled at the Benoni Magistrates Court on Monday.
They have converged ahead of the first court appearance of a man accused of the murder of 4year old Bokgabo Poo.
Ntokozo Zikhali, the 30-year-old suspect is expected to appear in connection with the kidnapping, rape and murder of 4-year-old girl.
Bokgabo’s stepfather, Johannes Sibiya, who lived with her since she was 1-year-old said the entire family was devastated and hoped for justice. Her mutilated body was discovered on Tuesday last week.
