Rihanna Opens Up About Upcoming Super-Bowl performance

The entire world anticipates Riri’s return on the big stage after over 6 years since her last music project. The fashion icon and Fenty boss spoke to Apple Music in a recent interview opening up about some of the challenges faced in preparation to her Super Bowl performance and what fans should expect.

With a total of 7 albums spanning over 15 years, we can all imagine the expectation especially since the 34 year old Barbadian singer is now a mother. The billionaire star had earlier revealed it was initially “scary” to accept the invitation and take on one of music’s biggest stages but it was important to her to represent immigrants, represent her country, Barbados, and represent black women everywhere.

Nobody knows for sure which songs will make the cut and the secrecy behind the show set lists and special guests. Rihanna’s 14-minute set performance will take place at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona at the 57th annual championship game break between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, 12th.

Other headliners at the Super Bowl over the years have included Lady Gaga, Prince, Michael Jackson, Eminem, Snoop dogg and even Shakira, JLO who had 264m plays for their performance – the highest of any half-time show to date.

Recall that earlier this week, global tourist attraction, Madam Tussauds unveiled a new wax figure for global sensation Rihanna and publicly announced to unveil yet another for the platinum singer of an exact replica of her yet to be seen Super Bowl looks.
