Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has invited twenty-three players ahead of Nigeria’s World Cup qualifiers’ double-header clashes against the Central African Republic.
The team largely comprises main players of the team including skipper Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho, in-form attackers Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu.
A new invitation was handed to Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo’s Glasgow Rangers’ teammates, Calvin Ughelumba. TSG Hoffenheim’s Kelvin Akpoguma also earned another invitation after missing out the last time due to illness.
FF Malmo’s Innocent Bonke appeared to have done enough to convince Rohr for a second opportunity. He’s coming in to replace the injured Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo.
