    On Saturday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that he had signed a declaration to accelerate almost $4 billion in military aid to Israel.

    “I have signed a declaration to use emergency authorities to expedite the delivery of approximately $4 billion in military assistance to Israel,” Rubio said in a brief statement issued on Saturday, March 1, 2025, adding that a partial arms embargo that had been in place under former President Joe Biden had been lifted.
