Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has been suspended indefinitely by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwadabawa ward, Yola north LGA of Adamawa state.
According to the party executive in the state, Mustapha did not contribute to securing victory for the APC at all levels.
The Chairman of Gwadabawa Ward, Mu’azu Kabiru, disclosed at a press conference in Yola that Mustapha was not committed to the APC’s victory in the just concluded general elections.
During the presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), won the Yola north LGA.
In the governorship election, Aisha Binani, the governorship candidate of the APC, won the LGA, but not by a wide margin. Kabiru explained that the SGF had failed to recognise the importance of the party’s executives in Gwadabawa who worked to keep the ward united.
