Gas flows to Germany via the Nord Stream 1 pipeline over the Baltic Sea were at 70,987,742 kilowatt hours per hour (kWh/h) on Wednesday morning, somewhat lower than the previous 24 hours’ high of roughly 73,400,00.

The present decline, however, is consistent with predictions, which point to a comeback later Wednesday morning.

According to statistics from operator Gascade, eastbound flows into Poland from Germany through the Yamal-Europe pipeline ceased on Tuesday, while physical flows at the Mallnow border crossing remain at zero.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Gazprom (GAZP.MM) has scheduled a second day of westbound transit capacity at Mallnow.

On March 15, the normally westbound pipeline flipped, with no nominations to carry gas into Germany and Polish clients buying gas from Germany. find out more

According to statistics from Slovakian operator TSO Eustream, nominations for flows into Slovakia from Ukraine via the Velke Kapusany border point were at 882,416 megawatt hours (MWh) per day on Wednesday, unchanged from the previous day.
