President William Ruto will on Thursday chair the first cabinet meeting of the 5th Administration.
State House Press Secretary Emmanuel Talam confirmed that the deliberation started at 11 with all members of the cabinet present.
On October 27, Ruto witnessed the swearing-in of new Cabinet Secretaries at a function in State House, Nairobi.
The National Assembly approved all 24 members of the Cabinet. Before naming his new Cabinet, Ruto had chaired a meeting with Cabinet Secretaries from the former administration on September 27.
The former cabinet was appointed by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
