Rwanda has delivered a substantial shipment of humanitarian aid bound for Gaza, the government announced on Thursday. The aid, provided in collaboration with Jordan, includes 19 tons of essential items, such as fortified food for children, medicines, and other medical supplies.
The shipment was received by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation in Amman, according to Rwanda’s Foreign Ministry.
Rwanda expressed solidarity with international relief efforts and a commitment to ending the conflict, calling for the protection of civilian lives.
Gaza has faced severe devastation since the escalation of the conflict on October 7, with widespread destruction and limited access to essential resources. Israel’s actions in Gaza are currently the subject of a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
